• Good excuses: “I read this is the must-see museum in the area,” “We have a dinner reservation nearby later, let’s kill some time here,” or “I really want to see the famous gardens.”
• The Dress Code: You want your partner to look their best for the photos without realizing why. Suggest dressing up for a nice dinner afterward. The Villa is elegant; smart casual or cocktail attire looks much better here than shorts and sneakers.

The “Signal”

Because I will be hiding in plain sight (pretending to be a landscape photographer or a tourist taking photos of flowers), I need a clear signal from you that the big moment is imminent.

• Common signals: Taking a selfie together in the designated spot, putting your sunglasses in your pocket, or a specific hand gesture we agree upon. Once I see the signal, I move into the prime position.
