Absolutely WOW! Finding Karina Leigh was the best thing that happened when we were searching for a photographer to capture special moments from our honeymoon in Nice. Who are you, are you French & do you speak English?
I'm Karina, a dynamic, high energy passionate professional photographer in France, living in France since 2014. I'm originally from the United States and English is my native language. I also speak French and a little Spanish! You can learn more about me here.
What is the rate for the Karina Leigh Photography couples photo sessions in Nice?
The rate for Nice Couples Photo Sessions is 575€ and includes a wonderfully fun morning of photos and memories in two main Nice locations. Most couples love to roam around colorful Old Town, and then we also stop for some sea views, either by the water, or upon Castle Hill. It's a dual walking tour around Nice and a fun photo session all in one!
We're a bit camera shy & don't love being photographed, how will you approach that?
I completely understand! That's why I approach photo sessions in Nice very casually and it's more like a photo walk or photo tour than stressful photo session. We'll be seeing lovely Nice together, and I'll give you gentle guidance so that you don't feel uncomfortable, but so that we'll capture some amazing memories for you. It's designed to be a no stress, fun experience!
What time of day are the Nice couples photo sessions available?
I love to photograph couples in the morning for several reasons. First, it's less crowded in the morning and makes for a more pleasant experience to have a bit of Nice to ourselves. Second, in the summer months in particular, it can get quite bright and humid the later we go, so it's also more comfortable in the morning. We usually start at 8:00 am, or in summer we can also start at 7:00 am or sunrise. This allows you to enjoy your entire day in Nice!
What should we wear? Can you recommend a makeup artist?
After you reserve with me, I'll be sending you my exclusive Nice Couples Style Guide, which will have tips on what to wear. In general, light fabrics are best in the summer months, and monochromatic outfits usually look best, although sometimes patterns can work as well. You can even bring a swimsuit if you'd love photos swimming in the Mediterranean Sea!
Yes, if you like, I can also recommend a makeup/hair artist that will help you look your very best!
Where will we meet, and how will we get around?
We'll be meeting in the Old Town at the Palais de Justice, just a stone's through away from the main boulevard, Promenade des Anglais. During our session, we'll walk. Nice is very compact and generally flat (except for Castle Hill) and so walking is a breeze. We may be climbing some stairs in Old Town.
Are all of the photos edited? How many do I receive? Who decides which photos are delivered?
Your collection includes 35 fully edited high resolution images. These images are all edited in my signature style as represented on my web site. In your gallery you'll have around 75 fully edited images to choose from. Of these 45 fully edited images, you may select your favorite 35 to download. If you like more than 35 in your gallery to download, you may download the entire gallery for an additional fee. Every single image in your gallery will be edited by me in my signature style. I carefully select the very best images that I created and you'll have a lot to choose from.
How would we book and pay? Do you require a deposit?
Booking is so easy, just send me an email here to request your date, and I'll let you know of my availability. If we're a month or so out from your date, I'll request the entire amount. Otherwise, a non-refundable retainer of 150€ is requested to reserve your date, and the balance would be due 30 days before we meet. You may pay online via secure credit card payment, it's super easy!
