All surprise proposals/engagements in Provence are custom designed for you and start at 675€. Your custom package includes all planning for your proposal within the region of Provence, where to propose and when as well as directions on where to meet. It includes up to 60 minutes of photography, to include your proposal and a few beautiful images in the the immediate area, to capture the joy you both feel. Your images will be ready in just 72 hours. 

Your collection includes fully edited high resolution images. These images are all edited in my signature beautiful style and are delivered to a personal online gallery. You will have around 50 images in your gallery and can select your 25 favorites to download. You may also purchase the entire gallery also.

In Provence, I really recommend mornings, the earlier the better. First off, it's typically the best light of the day, and there are fewer tourists out. Second, in summer, Provence gets very hot and this can be uncomfortable in the afternoon or even at sunset.

Sunset is gorgeous, but it does get dark shortly after and thus doesn't give us much time to capture other photos of your joy and happiness. As mentioned, it's also usually very warm and can be uncomfortable.

I do not offer video services at this time. Some people like to set up a tripod with their phone for a "selfie" and then just let the video run as they get on one knee, that can work too!

After we determine where your surprise proposal will happen, we'll devise a plan for our meeting place and time. My service is for the surprise proposal itself, plus a mini engagement session afterward in a location nearby to your proposal location, up to 60 minutes of total photography coverage. This is relaxed way to celebrate your engagement, and most people love it, as it gives a chance to relax and unwind. Some couples even use their engagement photos in Provence for their wedding "Save the Date" cards. If you do not wish to have a mini-engagement session after your proposal, no worries, but it's a really fun way to share in the excitement and joy of your engagement.

Depending on your proposal location, you could toast your engagement with a small bottle of fine French champagne & two glasses.

Your surprise proposal images are ready in just 72 hours. Each image I capture of you is professionally hand edited in my signature style with care, and uploaded in digital (JPG) format to an online gallery. In your online gallery, you can review your images and download those you love best. You can even download the entire gallery for an additional charge, and also have the option of getting your images more quickly.

If your plans change for any reason, there is a non-refundable retainer of 250€, but anything you've paid over that amount will be refunded. I ask for at least 72-hours notice of cancellation.

One of the most popular locations for surprise proposals in Provence is the medieval village of Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Gordes is located just 45-minutes east of Avignon. Other popular places for surprise proposals in Provence includes another medieval village called Les Baux de Provence, just outside of Saint Remy de Provence. 

Some clients love the Roman atmosphere and color of Arles, which is in proximity to Avignon. If you're looking for a sea view but not the French Riviera, the stunning town of Cassis just east of Marseille is perfect and so stunning!
