Top Off Your Elopement With A Meal At These Incredible Restaurants In Provence, France

Pierre Reboul Restaurant Château de la Pioline

260 Rue Guillaume Du Vair, 13290 Aix-en-Provence

Cuisine has always been at the heart of French culture, leading the way in global trends for the past several decades. At Château de la Pioline, they transform the art of French cooking into an experience, crafting extravagant meals that engage every sense as well as your emotions. While the restaurant food is some of the best in Provence, France, it’s the environment that really sets this gem apart from the rest. The eatery is located inside a 16th-century castle with high ceilings, gilded accents, and detailed chandeliers that show off every detail. They also have modern spaces that incorporate the latest in design into this historic space. Trust me, at this Michelin-starred restaurant, your meal will be something you remember for years to come!

L’Opera

18 Rue Fermée, 13100 Aix-en-Provence

If you are looking for a Provence, France restaurant a little more intimate, you might love L’Opera. This restaurant serves as a showcase of Provence. They rely on local growers and fresh produce to craft extraordinary meals. While they are experts at creating decadent seafood, they also have a fabulous selection of vegetarian meals for those who’d prefer to steer away from meat. Their menu changes regularly, but it remains consistent in its love for innovation. Their entrees are a melody of flavors that complement each other, celebrating the farmers and producers across the region. They offer a private room for group booking so you can gather with your loved ones and enjoy the perfect feast.

Le Ramus

12 Pl. Ramus, 13100, Aix-en-Provence

Le Ramus is a positively charming restaurant located inside a Provence, France historic building. If you have been looking for that picturesque spot to conclude your French wedding, this is it! The village restaurant has seating outside nestled against the deep teal exterior walls. As you head inside, the aesthetic is continued with gray stone walls and exposed wooden rafters. The menu is full of entrees you can either order individually or share as a table. They have calamari, octopus tartare, confit lamb shank, and poached cod back. Their desserts are guaranteed to elevate your meal, while their cocktails will keep the party going late into the night!

Le Bistrot de la Cave

Chemin des Imberts, 83780 Flayosc

Château Berne has everything you need for your ideal wedding weekend! This charming hotel has luxurious rooms as well as private villas that you can reserve for up to 10 people. The villas are completely stunning, putting you in estates that date back hundreds of years. While I always recommend the Provence, France hotel, you can enjoy the attached restaurant, Le Bistrot de la Cave, without booking a stay. Le Bistrot offers authentic food that has been expertly prepared. It has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand award for creating some of the best food at a moderate price. You can choose between indoor and outdoor settings for your dinner.

Les Caves Henri 4

32 Rue Espariat, 13100 Aix-en-Provence

Les Caves Henri 4 is a restaurant that was started by Thomas Roret to create meals that held a delicate balance between flavors for a one-of-a-kind experience in Provence, France. They offer tasting menus with several dishes that let you sample different creations. As you eat, you will be taken on a journey from one dish to the next. The name of the restaurant comes from the setting. When you step through the doors, you will be inside vaulted cellars that date back to 1495. The atmosphere is bright yet cozy, bringing together your party as you share in the celebration. Share some wine and some memories as you toast to the next chapter of life!

Le Bistrot de La Citadelle

601 Route de Cavaillon, 84560 Ménerbes

Le Bistrot de La Citadelle is located in a winery just outside the village of Ménerbes. With this Provence, France restaurant, you will have two dining areas with views that let in the majestic French countryside. Some couples choose to host every part of their wedding in this location, exchanging their vows while overlooking the vineyards. You can also choose to marry elsewhere before having your dinner at this location. They host lunches and dinners, offering sharing platters the entire dinner will love. While you are there, you can sample the wine that makes this spot so beloved by both residents and tourists alike! My wonderful couple Griselle and Eric, pictured below, were even married there!

Tayac à Ménerbes

601 Route de Cavaillon, 84560 Ménerbes

Tayac is a love story ready to help you write the next chapter of your own. The restaurant was started by Marguax and Nicolas, a couple who are nearly as passionate about food as they are each other. Nicolas has spent his entire life experimenting with new combinations to create beautiful and complex flavors. Meanwhile, Marguax adores working with people to curate experiences you will treasure for years to come. The restaurant is located near Le Bistrot, sharing an estate with La Citadelle. Nonetheless, your experience will be one that is completely unique. You can book a table and hire Nicolas as your group’s private chef. You will be able to enjoy a meal overlooking the vineyards of La Citadelle and sampling the wines. Once you have finished with your entree, the desserts are a must!
