Gordes, Provence
The incredible village of Gordes in Provence is the most stunning location for your elopement. Widely recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in France (I think it's for sure the most beautiful!), it's located just 45-minutes east of Avignon, so it's easily accessible from Paris and an absolute dream for your elopement! Here you'll find stunning views of the mountains, you'll see olive groves and vineyards, and you'll be transported back in time. There's so much to do here, go wine tasting at a nearby a vineyard, try the delicious Provence olive oil at a Provençal market, go hiking or biking in the Luberon or Alpilles mountains. See Provence from above in a hot air balloon! Or, maybe you prefer to relax in the sun, poolside with a good book, or visit a charming perched medieval village.

Dream of saying "I Do" in a lavender field?
The lavender that blooms in Provence is world famous for its beauty, and of course, its intoxicating scent. An elopement here is an otherworldy experience. But timing is everything if this is your dream, as the lavender typically only blooms from the end of June to mid-July, before its cut and harvested to make essential oils and other products. So if this is your dream, let's plan your elopement to take full advantage!
I'm committed to ensuring your day is magnificent & I'll help make the whole process incredibly easy for you!
I'll help you plan the wedding day of your dreams, listen to you, advise you, and be there for you every step of the way. With my intimate knowledge of Gordes, and the surrounding areas, you can count on me to help in your planning and to capture your day magnificently!
As a wedding and elopement photographer in Provence, it's my joy and honor to capture your very special day in this beautiful place! Elopements typically take place outside with beautiful views from a hilltop village, in a lavender field (in season), on a mountain, or even in an olive grove!
I'll capture your elopement authentically and elegantly, and provide you a stress-free and memorable day. Elopements in Provence are custom designed to each couple, so that you have the day you dream of!

Karina was amazing. She helped us with more than just photography, she took care of everything we needed. It took the stress away from us, especially living in Canada it would have been very difficult for us to do. she organized for us an officiant, driver, and hair and make up. Our wedding was perfect large part due to Karina’s help. On top of all that the photos were absolutely stunning, she took us to amazing villages and lavender fields. I would highly recommend Karina to anyone looking to for a photographer in France.

We want to elope in Paris or Provence, but we're not sure where, can you help us plan?
With so many options, it can be confusing to decide on where to elope, especially if you've never been to Paris, Provence or the French Riviera. I delight in helping all of my couples plan their perfect day. Contact me for my complimentary Elopement Planner, and I also offer a complimentary 20-minute WhatsApp call to learn more about you and determine the very best place for your elopement!
Once you've reserved me as your photographer, I'll do whatever I can to help you plan aspects of your day, and offer you my advice too. You're never alone, I'm more than a photographer, your elopement experience in France means a lot to me, and I'll do everything I can to ensure your wedding day is one you'll always treasure!
What type of elopement is possible? Can we have guests?
Most couples love the idea of an outdoor ceremony, whether with a view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, for example, in an olive grove ot lavender field in Provence, or along the sea on the French Riviera. Those locations are ideal for just the two of you, and maybe a few guests. If you're thinking of having more guests, then a privatized location like a hotel, resort, villa, or event center would probably be better suited to your event. Elopements in Paris usually take place in the morning, before too many people wake up, as Paris gets super busy! Paris elopements are perfect if you're into romantic city vibes, great restaurants and beautiful monuments and gardens. In Provence, the possibilities are endless. Most revolve around the beauty of nature, such as seaside, in a lavender field, or in an olive grove, or even in a forest or on a mountain. But don't count out a gorgeous view from a Provençal hilltop village. Provence is ideal if you'd like a more laid-back, relaxed nature vibe and an "authentic" French experience. If you love the sun and sea, the French Riviera is absolutely ideal!
Elopements are meant to be intimate and personal, so typically are for just the bride & groom. Small groups of less than 10 people could possibly be accommodated, but would often require a private venue, at least for the ceremony. For groups larger than 10, a private location is required and that would be considered a small destination wedding, extra fees would apply.
Can you help us arrange other vendors, such as flowers, makeup & hair, officiant?
Yes! All clients who have reserved me for their elopement will receive guidance on vendors who will make your day so special. This could include a makeup & hair artist, flowers, officiant/celebrant and more. But I'm not just giving you names, I'm there to help you coordinate, so that every aspect of your wedding day is perfect! My goal is to make this so easy and enjoyable for you, and take away the stress you may feel, because who wants to feel stressed on their wedding day?
Can elopements be put together last minute?
Yes! Unlike traditional weddings, which take a long time to plan, elopements can be planned a bit more quickly. That said, in the busy summer months of June to August (particularly August), its best to plan ahead if you can, as accommodations fill very quickly in the busy months.
How much should we budget for our elopement?
While elopements are generally more budget friendly than a larger wedding back home, make sure you have a budget to truly enjoy your day in that way that you like. Most couples budget between 3000€ - 9,000€ for their elopement in France, but each couple is unique in their desires for their wedding in France.
