So, you are getting ready to tie the knot and want to celebrate in the City of Love. First of all, congratulations! This is such an amazing moment, and you couldn’t have chosen a better place. Now, it’s time to start making all your plans. If you could use some help, I have created this guide just for you. As an English-speaking American photographer in Paris, I adore working with couples so they can make the most of their time in this wonderful country. Here is everything you need to know for your honeymoon in Paris!
When to Plan Your Honeymoon In Paris
First, let’s chat about the seasons! France can get fairly hot throughout the summer, plus many Parisians go on vacation. This means many of the restaurants and shops you might want to visit are shut down completely. I would suggest you skip July and August altogether. In May and June, you can take in the warmer weather without as many crowds. I am also such a fan of Paris in the fall around September and October. The temperatures start to dip, and the leaves begin to turn. Since many of the restaurants have efficient outdoor heating systems, you can still live your dream of sipping coffee outside without worrying about the chilly weather. Speaking of the cold, winter is also a perfectly fine time to visit. Even at the lowest temps, it stays above freezing, and the flights are much cheaper!
