- Best Ceremony Spot: A flat limestone outcrop jutting over the water along the southern peninsula trail.
- Logistics: Wear comfortable walking shoes for the rocky path, and switch into your dress shoes once at your ceremony spot.
Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
The coastal loop around Cap Ferrat features secluded pine groves, hidden stone staircases leading into the water, and quiet vistas facing toward Monaco. I love this area, it has stunning views of the sea and really interesting rock formations.
- Vibe: Intimate, peaceful, and secluded.
- Best Photography Light: Golden hour during late afternoon, when the sun warms the sea cliffs. But as it can get hot and crowded, morning is also a lovely time.
LE TRAYAS (Massif de l’Esterel)
Located just west of Cannes, where the red volcanic rocks of the Esterel mountains crash directly into the sea, Le Trayas offers a striking contrast of deep red cliffs against clear blue ocean water. If you’re from the United States, the backdrop mountains remind one of Sedona, Arizona, it’s jaw droppingly beautiful. I think it’s extremely under-rated! It’s also much calmer than other spots and not filled with tourists.

- Best Ceremony Spot: Any of the rocky alcoves overlooking the Calanques du Trayas.
